Essay on End of Marriage
Who said that marriage is easy? Marriages have sweet stages and bitter stages. The unfortunate thing is that there are problems that turn out to be too difficult for the couple to solve. Well, it all depends, because what is trivial for one couple for another may turn out to be the reason for the definitive breakdown of their relationship. However, you cannot lose faith in something instituted by God, because for Him there are no coincidences. In order to live in marriage, love, tolerance, perseverance and communication must prevail. “Accept the other as he is”, a very famous phrase that is also misused, because the spouse with problems wants to be loved as he is, and that is not exactly the case. If you are already aware that you have to change something in yourself, if you don’t, if you don’t try to improve or you don’t do your part, you end up being selfish. This is often not well understood.
As I said before, couples go through different stages in their marriage. After death, divorce is the second most painful cause. We face death because we know that someday we must leave this world, but divorce is a voluntary decision. Deciding to end a family can be due to several reasons that take their toll on a relationship. Few couples do not turn to a professional, much less to God to help them resolve the conflict. As a consequence, communication is lost and with it all hope of reconciliation is broken.
The Bible says: “My people perish for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4: 6). Many think that it only applies to “biblical knowledge.” Curiously, those who think like this are the ones who have the most problems and generally end up in failure in almost every aspect of their lives.
